PokerFace (the "App")

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using the App provided by Studio Shampoo (the "Developer"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

The App is a learning and training tool for the table procedures and basic strategy of poker (Texas Hold'em).

All play uses virtual chips. There is no real-money gambling, no purchase of chips, and no cash-out of any kind.
In-game chips and results have no monetary value.

2. Eligibility

Because the App contains simulated gambling, it is intended for users aged 18 and older. If you are under 18, please do not use the App.

3. Free and Paid Features

The App's core features are free. Some advanced features are offered through a paid Pro plan.

Free features

Poker Basics mode (table procedure training with live commentary)
Solo Practice mode (CPU opponents, basic GTO score)

The free version displays banner ads.

Pro plan (paid)

Detailed GTO analysis and weakness reports
Harder CPU opponents
No ads

The Pro plan is offered as an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly) through App Store in-app purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Billing, cancellation, and refunds are governed by Apple's terms.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

Use the App for real-money gambling
Decompile, reverse engineer, or modify the App
Abuse the App's features to harass or disrupt other users (in the future Online Match mode)
Copy or redistribute the App's content without permission

5. Intellectual Property

All content in the App (text, images, audio, software, etc.) and the intellectual property rights therein belong to the Developer.

6. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is." The Developer makes no warranty as to its accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, the Developer is not liable for any damages arising from use of the App.
The Developer accepts no responsibility for the outcome of applying what you learn in the App to real poker games.
The Developer is not liable for interruptions or data loss caused by network failures, device malfunction, or other causes beyond the Developer's control.

7. Your Data

8. Changes to or Termination of the Service

The Developer may change the App or discontinue the service without prior notice. The Developer is not liable for any damages resulting from discontinuation.

9. Changes to These Terms

The Developer may revise these Terms as needed. Revised Terms take effect when posted in the App or on the website. We will notify you in the App of any material changes.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
